Brand Discovery & Onboarding
If this is our first time working together, we'll want to understand your brand before diving in. In this initial phase, we collect your brand assets, style guides, and any key elements that define your brand.

We have a simple form to kick-start the process. Let us know what you want and just click submit!

First Draft Delivered
We'll deliver a first draft of your email typically within 2 business days.

Unlimited Revisions
You can request any revisions, big or small at this point. We'll go through updated rounds of design until you're happy!

Final Approval
Once you're happy with the design (even immediately on the first draft), the email is already READY for deployment!

Brand Discovery & Onboarding
During our initial engagement with your organization, we first gather all the relevant brand assets through onboarding process. Our goal during this phase is to aggregate all relevant visual identity information & assets and also to start formulating a cohesive idea of your brand identity.

Design Team Selection & Onboarding
Based on your unique brand identity and requirements, your project manager will select the best fitting group of internal designers to dedicate to your email design. Afterwards, we conduct our internal brand onboarding where the selected designers meet and familiarize themselves with your brand guidelines and vision prior to any tactical design work being conducted.

Creative Brief Review
When you submit the creative brief form, it automatically enters into our design production pipeline.

One of your selected designers will pick up the request. The designer then thoroughly reviews your submitted brief to make sure they have a full understanding of your vision for the email.

If there are any clarifying questions and/or suggestions, your project manager will reach out to you. Once everything is clarified, we'll proceed to start designing.

Prototyping & Draft Design
With the brand details and creative brief in hand, we then begin crafting the custom email design.

During this process, we reference your industry, competitors, and target audience to optimize for engagement and conversions. If we see patterns in what works best for your business, we incorporate those insights into the design.

Internal Design Review
Before you see any of the email design drafts, we first go through an internal design review to make sure the draft is up to our exacting standards and best represents your brand.

All emails must pass our internal design review before being shared with you.

Email Render & QA Testing
We want to make sure every email is pixel-perfect, across the multitude of email inboxes and devices. That's why before any draft round is delivered to you, we test it with industry-leading email render testing software, which checks for:

  • Mobile responsiveness
  • Dark mode
  • Multiple device & inbox combination views
  • Accessibility
  • And more...

Design Draft Delivery
After passing our internal checks, we'll deliver the draft of the email design to you in your preferred format.

We'll await your comments, revision requests, and/or approval.

Unlimited Revisions
If you have revision requests, we'll take the draft back into our production pipeline and make the revisions.

Each revision round further undergoes the same checks as the initial draft, i.e. internal design review and the rendering/QA checkpoints.

Final Approval
Once you are happy with an email design draft, then your email is already ready for deployment!
